BUDWEISER NHL® TEAM CAP CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
IMPORTANT : VEUILLEZ LIRE LE PRÉSENT RÈGLEMENT OFFICIEL (« RÈGLEMENT OFFICIEL ») AVANT DE PARTICIPER AU CONCOURS BUDWEISER CASQUETTE D’UNE ÉQUIPE DE LA LNHMD (LE « CONCOURS »). EN S'INSCRIVANT AU CONCOURS, LA PERSONNE PARTICIPANTE DÉCLARE QU'ELLE REMPLIT TOUTES LES CONDITIONS D'ADMISSIBILITÉ CI-DESSOUS ET ACCEPTE D'ÊTRE LIÉE SANS CONDITION PAR LE PRÉSENT RÈGLEMENT OFFICIEL ET PAR TOUTES LES DÉCISIONS DE LA BRASSERIE LABATT LIMITÉE (LE « COMMANDITAIRE DU CONCOURS ») ET L’ÉTABLISSEMENT PARTICIPANT OÙ LA PARTICIPATION AU CONCOURS A LIEU (l’« ADMINISTRATEUR DU CONCOURS », ET COLELCTIVEMENT AVEC COMMANDITAIRE DU CONCOURS, LES « PARTIES DU CONCOURS »).
ADMISSIBILITÉ : Pour pouvoir participer au concours, vous devez :
i. résider légalement au Canada
ii.avoir l’âge légal de consommer de l’alcool dans votre province ou votre territoire de résidence ;
iii. ne pas être un employé, dirigeant, administrateur, entrepreneur, agent ou représentant du Commanditaire du Concours, de la Ligue nationale de hockey (« LNH »), de l’un de ses clubs membres, de NHL Enterprises, L.P., de NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., de NHL Enterprises B.V., de NHL Interactive CyberEnterprises, LLC (collectivement, les « Entités de la LNH »), ni de l’une quelconque de leurs sociétés mères, filiales, affiliées, agences ou sociétés de distribution respectives.
iv. ne pas être un employé des régies provinciales des alcools applicables, des commissions de contrôle des licences participantes, des détaillants ou des distributeurs (les « Autorités provinciales des alcools ») ;
v. ne pas être membre de la famille immédiate (soit un parent, un conjoint ou une conjointe, un frère ou une sœur, ou un enfant) d’une des personnes susmentionnées ci-dessus ni résider dans le même ménage, qu’il y ait ou non un lien de parenté.
Les Autorités provinciales sur les alcools ne sont pas liées à ce Concours de quelque manière que ce soit et ne sont pas responsables de quelque manière que ce soit de toute question liée à ce Concours.
Pour être admissibles, les personnes participantes doivent avoir un accès en ligne ainsi que d’une adresse courriel valide à la date de leur participation. Si l’identité d’une personne participante est contestée, le titulaire autorisé du compte de l’adresse courriel soumise au moment de la participation sera réputé être la personne participante. La personne à qui l’adresse courriel a été attribuée par un fournisseur de services en ligne, un fournisseur de services Internet ou tout autre organisme responsable de l’attribution des adresses courriel pour le domaine associé à l’adresse courriel soumise est réputée être le titulaire autorisé du compte. Une personne participante peut être tenue de fournir au Commanditaire du Concours une preuve qu’elle est la titulaire autorisée du compte de l’adresse courriel associée à la participation gagnante.
PÉRIODE DU CONCOURS : Le Concours commence le 23 mars 2026 ou aux alentours de cette date, à 9 h 00 heure normale de l’Est (HNE) et se terminera à 23 h 59 min 59 s HNE le 27 juin 2026 (la « Date de clôture du concours »), après quoi aucune autre participation ne sera acceptée (la « Période du concours »). L’heure de début et l’heure de fin de la Période du concours sont déterminées selon le fuseau horaire applicable à chaque établissement participant.
COMMENT PARTICIPER : Aucun achat ni aucune consommation ne sont requis pour participer au Concours ou gagner un prix. Pendant la Période du Concours, il existe deux (2) façons de participer au Concours (chacune, une « Participation »), comme suit :
i. CARTE À GRATTER : Achetez un produit admissible et recevez l’une des 300 cartes à gratter du Concours offertes dans tout établissement participant (jusqu’à épuisement des stocks). Chaque carte à gratter du Concours comporte une zone « grattez et gagnez » que la personne participante admissible doit gratter complètement afin de révéler si elle est une gagnante potentielle. Les cartes à gratter du Concours qui révèlent le message « GAGNANT » seront admissibles à recevoir un prix (chacune, une « Carte à gratter officielle du Concours »). Les cartes à gratter du Concours qui révèlent le message « RÉESSAYEZ » ne seront pas admissibles à recevoir un prix.
ii. AUCUN ACHAT REQUIS : Pour recevoir une carte à gratter du Concours sans achat, adressez-vous à un employé autorisé dans tout établissement participant.
Si la carte à gratter du Concours est une Carte à gratter officielle du Concours, la personne gagnante potentielle devra fournir son nom complet, son adresse et son adresse courriel, répondre correctement à une question d’habileté mathématique figurant au verso de la carte à gratter du Concours et consulter un employé autorisé dans l’établissement participant au Concours afin de recevoir son prix. Les cartes à gratter du Concours obtenues par des sources non autorisées ou qui ne sont pas originales, ou qui sont illisibles, modifiées, reproduites, volées, falsifiées, contrefaites, irrégulières ou comportant des erreurs d’impression ou autres, sont nulles et sans effet. Les personnes participantes doivent se conformer au Règlement officiel pour être déclarées gagnantes.
Limite d’une (1) participation par personne, par jour (entre 0 h 00 min 01 s et 23 h 59 min 59 s, chaque jour civil pendant la Période du concours, à l’exception du premier jour civil de la Période du concours, qui commence à 9 h), quelle que soit la méthode de participation.
Les participations doivent être reçues avant la Date de clôture du concours. Les Cartes à gratter officielles du Concours échangées après la Date de clôture du concours sont nulles.
Aucune autre forme de soumission d’une participation n’est valide, sauf tel qu’indiqué ci-dessus.
Les personnes participantes ne peuvent pas s’inscrire avec plusieurs adresses électroniques ni participer sous plusieurs identités. Toute personne participante qui tente de participer sous plusieurs identités sera disqualifiée et renoncera à tout prix gagné, à la seule discrétion de l’Administrateur du Concours.
Aucune responsabilité n’est assumée par les Parties du Concours à l’égard de l’incapacité d’une personne participante potentielle à participer au Concours, et ce, pour quelque raison que ce soit. Les Parties du Concours ne sont pas responsables des participations tardives, perdues, mal acheminées, retardées, incomplètes ou incompatibles, des messages de notification de prix, ou de toute autre information liée au Concours (collectivement, les « Informations liées au Concours »), ni des Informations liées au Concours qui ont été envoyées par erreur ou qui ont été produites ou diffusées d’une manière incompatible avec le présent Règlement officiel, lesquelles sont toutes nulles. Les captures d’écran ne seront pas acceptées comme preuve de participation. Toutes les participations deviennent la propriété du Commanditaire du Concours.
VÉRIFICATION DE LA PERSONNE PARTICIPANTE : Les Parties du Concours se réservent le droit d’exiger une preuve de conformité au présent Règlement officiel, sous une forme jugée acceptable (y compris, sans s’y limiter, une pièce d’identité avec photo émise par le gouvernement) : (i) afin de vérifier l’admissibilité d’une personne à participer au Concours ; (ii) afin de vérifier l’admissibilité et/ou la légitimité de toute Information liée au Concours soumise ou reçue, ou prétendument soumise ou reçue, dans le cadre de celui-ci ; et/ou (iii) pour toute autre raison que les Parties du Concours jugent nécessaire, à leur seule et entière discrétion, aux fins de l’administration du Concours. Le fait de ne pas fournir cette preuve à l’entière satisfaction des Parties du Concours, dans le délai précisé par ces derniers, peut entraîner la disqualification, à leur seule et entière discrétion. Les données du serveur du Commanditaire du Concours seront les seules à déterminer l’heure aux fins du Concours. Toutes les informations demandées et/ou fournies au Commanditaire du Concours dans le cadre du Concours doivent être véridiques, complètes, exactes et ne doivent en aucun cas induire en erreur. Le Commanditaire du Concours se réserve le droit de disqualifier toute personne participante s'il estime que cette personne a fourni à tout moment des informations fausses, incomplètes, inexactes ou trompeuses. Toutes les décisions des Parties du Concours sont définitives et ne peuvent faire l'objet d'aucun recours.
PRIZE: There are twenty-eight (28) prizes available to be won at each participating location, each consisting of one (1) NHLMD Canadian team hat (hereinafter, the “Prize”). NHLMD teams are subject to availability and at the discretion of the Contest Administrator. No substitutions will be granted. The number of Prizes available will decrease as Prizes are won/claimed. The approximate retail value of each Prize is $4.90 CAD. Alcohol is not part of the Prize.
The Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize may not be re-sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash. No prize replacements are permitted except by the Contest Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any portion thereof with a prize of equal or greater value. All decisions of the Contest Parties in connection with the Prize are final and cannot be appealed. The Contest Parties are not responsible for the Prize once it has been claimed.
ODDS: The odds of winning a Prize at each participating location are approximately 1 in 17.5. The number of Prizes available will decrease as they are won/claimed.
PRIZE AWARDING: Before being declared a winner, any eligible entrant with an official Contest Scratch Card must complete all requested information and correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question found on the back of the Contest scratch card. Once completed, the entrant must present the official Contest Scratch Card to an authorized employee of the participating location where the Contest entry was made, who will verify that the entrant complies with these Official Rules.
If a potential Prize winner is found to be ineligible for any reason, refuses to accept the Prize, incorrectly answers the required mathematical skill-testing question, or exceeds the time allotted to correctly answer the required mathematical skill-testing question, that potential entrant will be disqualified and forfeit the Prize. The Contest Sponsor may then, at its sole and absolute discretion, select another eligible entrant, who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner.
EACH SELECTED ENTRANT IS CONSIDERED A POTENTIAL WINNER, SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION OF THEIR ELIGIBILITY, CORRECT ANSWER TO A MATHEMATICAL SKILL-TESTING QUESTION, AND THE SIGNING OF A RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION FORM, WHERE APPLICABLE, AND AUTHORIZATION FOR THE USE OF THEIR NAME, IMAGE AND LIKENESS. ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY THE CONTEST SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN RESPECT OF ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST. NO PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED UNLESS, AND UNTIL, THE ENTRANT'S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED. THE CONTEST SPONSOR WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY SCREENSHOTS OR OTHER PROOF OF PRIZE CLAIM IN PLACE OF ITS VALIDATION PROCESS.
RELEASE: By participating in the Contest or accepting a Prize, the entrant: (i) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including all conditions of participation; (ii) agrees that the decisions of the Contest Parties are final and cannot be appealed; (iii) forever waives, releases, and discharges the Prize provider, the Contest Sponsor, the Contest Administrator, the NHL Entities, and each of their affiliated companies, parent companies, subsidiaries, professional advisors, provincial alcohol authorities, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”)
from any action, cause of action, suit, debt, account, claim, damage, liability, loss, injury, cost or expense, including, without limitation, any liability for any injury, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever sustained by the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death or property damage, arising out of or related, directly or indirectly, to the Contest, including, without limitation, the entrant’s participation in the Contest, any breach of these Official Rules, the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any Contest Prize (or any portion thereof), any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of a Contest Prize or any breach or infringement of intellectual property rights, or publicity, personality or privacy rights. The entrant also agrees to fully indemnify the Released Parties from any third-party claims related to the foregoing.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for any damage caused or alleged to be caused by, or resulting from: any lost, stolen, late, scrambled, distorted, delayed, damaged, or misdirected entry, prize, or other correspondence or data, for any reason whatsoever; any outage, interruption, technical failure, or delay; any email, personal message, text message, or SMS message, or any other communication sent or received, for any reason whatsoever, to the Contest Sponsor, Contest Administrator, or any of their designated agents or representatives; any incorrect, untimely, or inaccurate information, whether caused by the Contest website, by users, or by equipment or programming errors associated with the Contest or used in connection therewith; any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of one or more Contest entries, or any failure to receive a PIN before the Contest Closing Date (as applicable); any problem related to the operation of the Contest website or any of its features, whatever the cause; any malfunction or damage caused to a telephone network, computer equipment, data, software, online systems, servers, or access providers; any loss of functionality due to the non-activation of cookies; Internet congestion; the security or confidentiality of information transmitted over computer networks; any breach of privacy due to third-party interference or any damage caused to, or suffered by, an entrant or any other person due to such event or occurrence; or any technical, hardware, or software failure of any kind, any lost or unavailable network connection, any failed, incomplete, scrambled, or delayed computer transmission, including any lost, misdirected, or corrupted entry, any damage caused by a virus, worm, or Trojan horse, or any other damage that may limit an entrant's ability to participate in the Contest.
ERRORS: The Contest Parties are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Contest, including, without limitation, errors in advertising, these Official Rules, the Contest website, in the selection and announcement of winners or in connection with the distribution of a Prize. In no event will the Contest Sponsor be liable for a number of Prizes exceeding that stated in these Official Rules (at any level). If, due to a printing, production, online, Internet, computer, or other error, a Prize notification incorrectly indicates the applicable Prize an entrant is able to win, or mistakenly declares an entrant to be a potential winner, the entrant will only be entitled to receive the applicable Prize they are eligible to win according to the Contest Sponsor's official records and data (as determined by the Contest Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion).
RIGHT TO TERMINATE, MODIFY, OR SUSPEND: The Contest Sponsor may at any time, at its sole discretion and without liability, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, subject only to approvals required by law, if fraud, technical failures, communication errors, or any other error or cause beyond the Contest Sponsor's control corrupts the administration, integrity, or security of the Contest, or if any other factor interferes with the conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these Official Rules. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, in the event of early termination of the Contest, notice will be posted to that effect on the Contest website. Furthermore, for the purpose of determining eligibility to win a Prize in the event of early termination of the Contest, all eligible entries received prior to the time of early termination will be considered valid and, for the purposes of these Official Rules, the Contest Period will be deemed to have ended at the time of early termination. No waiver by the Contest Sponsor of any term hereof shall be deemed a continuing waiver or a waiver of any other term.
DISQUALIFICATIONS: If the Contest Sponsor discovers (through any evidence or other information made available to it or discovered by it) that a person has attempted to: (i) exceed any limit or restriction provided in these official rules; (ii) use multiple names, identities, email addresses, accounts, and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic, or other system or program to register, participate, or disrupt the Contest; (iii) participate in the Contest more than the allowed number of times; (iv) submit an entry or PIN (as applicable) that is falsified, manipulated, or altered in any way; (v) disrupt or participate in the Contest in a fraudulent or deceptive manner (including, without limitation, cancelling, changing, or modifying a transaction); and/or (vi) participate in the Contest in any other disruptive, abusive, fraudulent, deceptive, unfair, unsportsmanlike, or inconsistent manner with these official rules (as determined by the Contest Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion), that person may be disqualified from the Contest at the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor. If an entrant is disqualified, they forfeit all rights to a Prize.
WARNING: ANY DELIBERATE ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR ALTER AN ENTRY OR TO COMPROMISE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST CONSTITUTES A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, THE CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY THAT ENTRANT OR OTHER PERSON AND TO CLAIM DAMAGES OR ANY OTHER REMEDY FROM THAT ENTRANT OR OTHER PERSON, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
PRIVACY POLICY: Personal information collected from entrants will only be used, shared, and otherwise processed by the Contest Sponsor in accordance with the Contest Sponsor's privacy policy, available at: https://www.labatt.com/fr/privacy-policy. The Contest Sponsor may also use personal information collected from entrants to provide them with information regarding upcoming promotions or events of the Contest Sponsor only if the entrants consent to be contacted by the Contest Sponsor at the time of their participation. For more information regarding how the Contest Sponsor collects, uses, and discloses personal information, please consult the Contest Sponsor's Privacy Policy.
LOI APPLICABLE : Sauf pour les consommateurs et consommatrices qui résident au Québec et assujettis à la loi applicable et au présent Règlement, le Concours et le Règlement officiel sont régis par le droit de l'Ontario et toutes les personnes participantes acceptent expressément que les tribunaux de l'Ontario soient seuls compétents en cas de litige ou de différend découlant de ce concours ou s'y rapportant et acceptent de se soumettre à la juridiction des tribunaux de l'Ontario. Le lieu de tout litige ou différend sera Toronto, Ontario. Pour les consommateurs et consommatrices qui résident au Québec, le Concours et le Règlement officiel sont régis par le droit du Québec et toutes les personnes participantes acceptent expressément que les tribunaux du Québec soient seuls compétents en cas de litige ou de différend découlant de ce concours ou s'y rapportant et acceptent de se soumettre à la juridiction des tribunaux du Québec.
L'invalidité ou l'inapplicabilité de toute disposition du présent Règlement officiel n'affectera pas la validité ou l'applicabilité de toute autre disposition. Si une disposition est jugée non valide, inapplicable ou illégale, le présent Règlement officiel reste en vigueur et doit être interprété conformément à ses dispositions, comme si la disposition non valide ou illégale n'était pas prévue dans le présent règlement.
SOUS RÉSERVE DES LOIS APPLICABLES : Le Concours est soumis à l'intégralité du présent Règlement officiel et à toutes les lois et tous les règlements fédéraux, provinciaux et locaux applicables. En participant au Concours, vous reconnaissez avoir lu le Règlement officiel et acceptez de vous conformer à ses conditions ainsi qu'aux décisions du Commanditaire du concours, qui sont définitives et contraignantes pour tout ce qui concerne le Concours. Toute question, commentaire ou plainte concernant le Concours doit être adressé au Commanditaire du concours. CE CONCOURS EST NUL LÀ OÙ LA LOI L'INTERDIT.
DIVERGENCE LINGUISTIQUE : En cas de divergence ou d'incohérence entre les conditions générales du présent Règlement officiel et les divulgations ou autres déclarations contenues dans tout matériel ou Information liée au concours, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, les points de vente, la télévision, la publicité imprimée ou en ligne, les conditions générales du présent Règlement officiel prévaudront, régiront et contrôleront.
