“RÔTISSERIES ST-HUBERT WITH MICHELOB ULTRA X RYDER CUP” OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL RULES (“OFFICIAL RULES") BEFORE ENTERING THE “RÔTISSERIES ST-HUBERT WITH MICHELOB ULTRA X RYDER CUP” CONTEST (THE “CONTEST"). BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, THE ENTRANT SATISFIES ALL OF THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS BELOW AND AGREES TO BE UNCONDITIONALLY BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND ALL DECISIONS OF LA BRASSERIE LABATT LIMITÉE (THE “CONTEST SPONSOR") AND RÔTISSERIES ST-HUBERT (THE “CONTEST ADMINISTRATOR").

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND A RESIDENT OF QUEBEC. 

Definition of Ryder Cup Entities: The Ryder Cup logo is a trademark owned by the Professional Golfers' Association of America and Ryder Cup Europe, which are collectively referred to as the “Ryder Cup Entities” in these Official Rules and in all Contest documents. 

 

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to participate, you must:

        i.         Be a legal resident of Quebec;

       ii.         Be of legal drinking age in the United States, i.e. 21 years or older;

      iii.         Have a valid passport for travel to the U.S.;

     iv.         Not be an employee, officer, director, subcontractor, agent or representative of the Contest Sponsor, the Ryder Cup Entities or any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies or distribution companies.

       v.         Not be an employee of a provincial liquor authority, liquor corporation or liquor board or its licensees, retailers or distributors (the “Provincial Liquor Authorities”); or

     vi.         Not be a member of the immediate family (parent, spouse, brother, sister, child) of one of the above persons or domiciled at the same address as one of the above persons.

 

Provincial Liquor Authorities are not connected with this Contest in any way and are not in any way responsible for any matter relating to this Contest.

 

To be eligible, entrants must have Internet access and a valid e-mail address at the time of entry. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder associated with the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The person assigned to the e-mail address by an online service provider, Internet access provider, or any other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. An entrant may be required to provide the Contest Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

 

CONTEST PERIOD: The contest begins on or about June 10, 2025, at 8:01 a.m. and ends on August 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Closing Date”), after which no further entries will be accepted (the “Contest Period”). The contest takes place in 128 participating St-Hubert establishments. 

HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, there are only two (2) ways to enter the Contest:

 

i.                SCRATCH THE COASTER TO REVEAL YOUR UNIQUE PIN CODE: Eligible participants can obtain a coaster by ordering one (1) glass (20 oz.) of Michelob Ultra and one (1) dish from the regular menu at a participating St-Hubert establishment. One (1) coaster will be given to the participant, and one (1) PIN code can be found by scratching the space indicated under the coaster (while supplies last and subject to product availability).Visit www.shopbeergear.ca/StHubertXCoupeRyders (the “Contest Website”) and follow the instructions to enter the unique PIN code for your chance to win a prize.

 

ii.              NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: To request a unique PIN code without making a purchase, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “RÔTISSERIES ST-HUBERT WITH MICHELOB ULTRA X COUPE RYDER”, 180 Henri Dunant Street, Moncton, NB, E1E 1E6, along with an original 100-word essay explaining why you want to enter the Contest (the “Essay”). There is a limit of one (1) application per envelope. In your envelope, please include (i) your original handwritten Essay; (ii) another stamped envelope with your return address; and (iii) a sheet of paper containing your name, date of birth, date, signature and the statement “I am of legal drinking age and a resident of Quebec”. Only original texts will be accepted. Entries submitted more than once will be disqualified and will not be eligible for further participation. Requests must be received in time for a unique PIN code to be mailed to you so that you can enter before the Contest Closing Date of August 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. While supplies last. Any request that does not meet each of these requirements will be rejected at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor. The Contest Sponsor is under no obligation to notify you if your request is denied. Unique PIN codes obtained without purchase can then be entered on the Contest Website.

 

Once you have entered your unique PIN code, you will be asked to complete a Contest entry form in full, including correctly answering a mathematical skill-testing question. Once all fields have been completed, click on the "Submit" button. Unique PIN codes obtained from unauthorized sources, or which are not original, or which are illegible, modified, reproduced, stolen, counterfeit, irregular or contain printing or other errors are void. Each unique PIN code may be entered only once. To be eligible to win, entrants must complete the Contest entry form in its entirety and comply with these Official Contest Rules.

 

Limit of one (1) entry per person, per day (between 12:00:01 a.m. and 11:59:59 p.m. each calendar day during the Contest Period), regardless of method of entry. Entries must be received by the Contest Closing Date. Entries received after the Contest Closing Date will be void. There are no other ways to submit an entry other than those mentioned above. Multiple entrants may not share the same e-mail address. Entrants may not enter with multiple e-mails or under multiple identities. Any entrant attempting to enter with multiple e-mails, accounts or identities will be disqualified and will forfeit any prize won, at Contest Sponsor's sole discretion. 

THE PERSON WHO WINS THE PRIZE IS CONSIDERED A POTENTIAL WINNER OF THE PRIZE PENDING VERIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY, PROVISION OF A CORRECT ANSWER TO A MATHEMATICAL SKILL-TESTING QUESTION AND EXECUTION OF A RELEASE AND INDEMNITY (IF APPLICABLE). THE POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY THE CONTEST SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE CONTEST. PRIZE WILL NOT BE AWARDED UNTIL ENTRANT'S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED. THE SPONSOR WILL NOT ACCEPT SCREENSHOTS OR OTHER EVIDENCE IN LIEU OF ITS VALIDATION PROCESS.

 

The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for the inability of any potential entrant to successfully participate in the Contest for any reason whatsoever. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible entries, prize notification messages or any other information related to the Contest (collectively, the “Contest Information”), or Contest Information that has been submitted in error or that has been produced or distributed in a manner inconsistent with these Contest Rules, all of which are void.

VERIFICATION OF PARTICIPANT'S IDENTITY: The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of compliance with these Official Rules (including, without limitation, proof of identity or eligibility) in a form acceptable to the Contest Sponsor (including, without limitation, government-issued photo identification): (i) to verify a person's eligibility to participate in this Contest; (ii) to verify the eligibility or legitimacy of any information relating to the Contest (as defined below) submitted or received (or purportedly submitted or received) in connection with this Contest; or (iii) for any other reason deemed necessary by the Contest Sponsor, at its sole and absolute discretion, in connection with the administration of this Contest. Failure to provide such proof to the Contest Sponsor's complete satisfaction within the time period specified by the Contest Sponsor may result in disqualification. The Contest Sponsor's server data will be the sole determinant of time for the purposes of this Contest. All information requested by or provided to the Contest Sponsor in connection with the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any entrant if, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor, the entrant has at any time provided false, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information. All decisions of the Contest Sponsor are final and not subject to appeal.

PRIZE: There is one (1) Prize to be won consisting of one (1) trip for two (2) people (winner and guest) to attend the Ryder Cup 2025 in Farmingdale, New York (hereinafter, the “Prize”). The Prize includes two (2) general admission tickets to attend two (2) days of the Ryder Cup 2025 (the “Event”) (dates of the Event to be selected by the Contest Sponsor), two (2) round-trip economy air tickets between the Canadian international airport closest to the winner's home and New York City, three (3) nights' hotel accommodation (double occupancy) at the hotel selected by the Contest Sponsor, certain meals at the hotel, certain ground transfers between the hotel and the Event, an allowance of $1,000 CAD (payable to the winner in the form of a prepaid credit card only) and taxes on included services The approximate retail value of the Prize is $10,000 CAD. Alcohol is not part of the Prize. 

Travel dates must be for three (3) consecutive nights between September 25 and 28, 2025 (subject to Event schedule and at Contest Sponsor's discretion), and winner and guest must be available to travel at any time during these dates. Travel documents (including a valid passport for travel to the United States, if required), insurance, taxes, gratuities, additional transportation, food and beverages, medical vaccinations and all other personal costs and expenses not specifically included in the above description are the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her guest. Winner and guest must be 21 years of age or older to travel to the United States. Winner must have a valid credit card for check-in, incidentals and hotel deposits at time of travel. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible if travel is prevented or refused for reasons or decisions of government authorities (foreign or national), or other airlines or airport authorities. Regional travel restrictions may apply. Winner and guest must comply with all venue and Event policies, including, but not limited to, presentation of valid photo identification at the Event for age verification or identification purposes, if requested. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible if entry to the Event is denied for reasons or decisions of governmental authorities (federal or provincial) or regional health authorities. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the Prize, in whole or in part, from the winner or his/her guest who, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor or Site personnel, may, in the Contest Sponsor's sole discretion, be intoxicated, constitute a health or safety hazard, have violated any policy or law of the site, or may bring the Contest Sponsor into disrepute. The Contest winner and his/her guest may require mobile (paperless) access to tickets only, depending on the rules and regulations of the selected venue. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible if the Event is cancelled. Additional terms and conditions apply to and appear on tickets once awarded. 

Prize must be accepted as awarded. The prize cannot be resold, transferred or exchanged for cash. No prize substitutions except by Contest Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any portion thereof with a prize of equal or greater value. All decisions of the Contest Sponsor with respect to the Contest are final and are not subject to appeal. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for the Prize once it has been awarded. 

The Contest Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the appearance, safety or performance of the Prize. 

Contest winners are responsible for all expenses and costs not listed as part of the Prize. Once the winner has been confirmed, the Prize will be shipped to the address provided by the selected entrant on the liability waiver form or declaration of compliance with the Official Rules (if applicable). The Contest Sponsor will not deliver the Prize to a post office box. 

ODDS: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entry Forms received. 

 

AWARDING OF PRIZES:

 

The Prize will be drawn on August 2, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. on the Contest Website and will be awarded once the Contest Sponsor has confirmed that the potential winner complies with these Contest Rules. Entrants must complete the Contest entry form in its entirety, including confirming that they are 21 years of age or older, that they reside in Quebec and that they have correctly answered the timed mathematical skill-testing question. All required steps must be completed before the Prize will be awarded.

 

Before a Prize is awarded, the winner may be required to sign a declaration of compliance with the Official Rules and a liability release form releasing the Contest Sponsor, Ryder Cup Entities as well as their respective affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, professional advisors, provincial liquor authorities and advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability arising out of, under or in connection with the operation of the Contest, including, without limitation, liability arising from the acceptance and use of the Prize as awarded, the administration of the Contest and the selection of a potential winner.

 

If a potential Prize winner is found to be ineligible for any reason, refuses to accept a Prize, incorrectly answers the mandatory mathematical skill-testing question or does not have sufficient time to correctly answer the mandatory mathematical skill-testing question, he or she will be disqualified and forfeits the Prize. The Contest Sponsor will not contact the participants, with the exception of selected participants. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible if, for any reason, a selected entrant does not receive notification or if the Contest Sponsor does not receive a selected entrant's response. 

 

RELEASE: By entering the Contest and/or by accepting a Prize, each entrant (i) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and all conditions of entry; (ii) agrees that the decisions of the Contest Sponsor are final and binding; (iii) releases and forever discharges the Released Parties from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, claims, liabilities, losses or expenses and any and all rights, accounts, damages, prejudice or costs, including, without limitation, liability for any injury or loss or damage of any kind to entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death or property damage, arising out of or in any way connected, directly or indirectly, with the Contest, including, but not limited to, participation in the Contest, any violation of these Official Rules, the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any Contest Prize (or any part thereof), and any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of a Contest Prize, or the violation or infringement of any intellectual property right or any right of publicity, personality or privacy, and agrees to fully indemnify the Released Parties from any and all third-party claims related to the foregoing.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for damages caused or claimed to be caused by: (i) any entry, Prize or other correspondence or data that is lost, stolen, delayed, garbled, distorted, delayed, damaged or misdirected for any reason whatsoever; (ii) any failure, interruption, technical malfunction or delay; (iii) any e-mail, personal message, text message or other communication sent or received by the Contest Sponsor or any of its agents or designated person for any reason whatsoever; (iv) for any incorrect, untimely or inaccurate information, whether caused by the Contest Website, users, or by equipment or programming errors associated with or utilized in the Contest; (v) for any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of any entry or registration in the Contest or failure to receive a unique PIN code by the Contest Closing Date; (vi) for any problems with the operation of the Contest Website or any function of the Contest Website, regardless of cause; (vii) malfunction or damage to the phone network, computer equipment, data, software, online systems, servers or access providers; (viii) any functionality lost due to the absence or deactivation of browser cookies; (ix) Internet traffic; (x) the security or confidentiality of information transmitted over computer networks; (xi) invasion of privacy due to infiltration by a third-party or any damage suffered by a participant or any other person as a result of such an event; or (xii) technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, including lost, misdirected or corrupted entries, damage caused by viruses, worms or Trojan horses, or any other damage that may limit a person's ability to participate in the Contest.

 

ERRORS: The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Contest, including, but not limited to, errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the Contest Website, the selection and announcement of a winner, or errors in the distribution of a Prize. In no event will the Contest Sponsor be liable for more than the number of Prizes stated in these Official Rules (at any level). If, due to printing, production, online, Internet, computer or other error of any kind, a Prize notification incorrectly states the applicable Prize that an entrant is eligible to win, or erroneously states that an entrant is a potential winner, that entrant will only be eligible to receive the applicable Prize that an entrant is eligible to win according to the Contest Sponsor's official data and records (as determined by the Contest Sponsor at its sole and absolute discretion). 

RIGHT TO TERMINATE, MODIFY OR SUSPEND THE CONTEST: The Contest Sponsor may at any time, in its sole discretion and without liability, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, subject only to any approvals required by law, if fraud, technical failures, errors in communications or other causes beyond the control of the Contest Sponsor corrupt the administration, integrity or security of the Contest or if any other factor interferes with the conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these Contest Rules. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, in the event of early termination of the Contest, a notice to that effect will be published on the Contest Website. In addition, for the purposes of determining eligibility to win a Prize in the event of early termination of the Contest, all eligible entries received prior to the time of early termination will be considered valid and, for the purposes of these Official Contest Rules, the Contest Period will be deemed to have ended at the time of early termination. No waiver by the Contest Sponsor of any term hereof shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of any other condition. 

DISQUALIFICATIONS: If the Contest Sponsor discovers (through evidence or any information provided to or obtained by the Contest Sponsor) that a person has attempted to: (i) exceed the limits or restrictions specified in these Official Rules; (ii) use multiple names, identities, e-mail addresses, accounts and/or automated or robotic system, script, macro or any other means or program to enter or participate in the Contest or disrupt its operation; (iii) enter the Contest more than the permitted number of times; (iv) submit an entry or enter a code or unique PIN code (if applicable) that has been tampered with, manipulated or altered in any way; (v) disrupt or participate in the Contest in a fraudulent or deceptive manner (including, but not limited to, canceling, changing or modifying a transaction); or (vi) participate in the Contest in any manner that is disruptive, abusive, fraudulent, deceptive, unfair, unsportsmanlike or otherwise inconsistent with these Official Rules (as determined by Contest Sponsor at its sole and absolute discretion), and may be disqualified from the Contest, at the Contest Sponsor's at its sole and entire discretion. If a person is disqualified, he or she forfeits any right to a Prize. 

WARNING: ANY DELIBERATE ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR ALTER ANY ENTRY OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS; IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT SHOULD BE MADE, THE CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY SUCH ENTRANT OR INDIVIDUAL AND SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER RELIEF AGAINST SUCH ENTRANT OR INDIVIDUAL TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 

PRIVACY POLICY: The Contest Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Contest Sponsor to administer the Contest and fulfill the Prize requirements and, only if consent is given at the time of entry, to provide entrants with information about upcoming promotions and/or events of the Contest Sponsor. APPLICABLE LAW: For consumers residing in Quebec, this Contest and the Official Rules are governed by the laws of Quebec and all entrants expressly consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of Quebec in all disputes or controversies arising out of or relating to this Contest.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that a clause is deemed invalid, inapplicable or illegal, these Rules will remain in force and will be interpreted in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal clause had not been included.

SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS: The Contest is subject to these complete Official Rules and all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations. By entering the Contest, you acknowledge that you have read the Official Rules and agree to abide by their terms and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. Questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Contest should be addressed to the Contest Sponsor. THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

LANGUAGE DIFFERENCES In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any contest-related information or materials, including, but not limited to, point-of-sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.
