OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
** MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE. NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Entry into this contest constitutes your acceptance of these Official Rules.
CONTEST PERIOD:
The Contest (the “Contest Period”) begins on or about Thursday September 8th, 2022 at 11:00am and ends on Sunday January 8th, 2023 at 11:59pm Eastern Time. Contest cards with uniquely coded PINs may be obtained at participating locations during the contest period on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays during regular business hours at participating locations (see HOW TO ENTER for entry details). As more particularly set out below in these Official Rules, the start time and end time of the Contest Period in respect of a given participating St. Louis Bar and Grill will be read to be in the time zone that is relevant to the location of such applicable Participating St. Louis Bar & Grill.
From all eligible online entries received during the Contest Period a random draw for one (1) prize (see GRAND PRIZE for prize details) will take place on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, at 12:00 PM ET., (the “Draw Date”). Draw will take place at the offices of St. Louis Bar & Grill located at 2050 Yonge St. Toronto, Ontario M4S 1Z9, selecting the eligible Grand Prize winner (the “Grand Prize Winner”).
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible to win you must: (i) be a legal resident of Canada excluding Quebec; (ii) be 21 years of age or older; (iii) have a valid passport and be eligible to travel to the United States and (vi) correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question without assistance to be administered by the Sponsor. You are not eligible to win, if you are: a) an employee of St. Louis Bar & Grill., operating as St. Louis Bar & Grill (the contest “Sponsor”), an employee of Labatt Breweries of Canada (the “Grand Prize Supplier”) or the National Football league and each of their respective affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies, franchisees, any participating stores or Contest judging organization; b) an employee or contractor of a provincial or state liquor authority, a beer distribution company or c) a member of the immediate family (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouse, regardless of where they live) or household (whether related or not) of any of the above persons.
HOW TO ENTER:
Contest cards with uniquely coded PINs (“Contest Card”) may be obtained by visiting a participating St. Louis Bar & Grill in the provinces of: British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Limit of one (1) Contest Card per person, per day. For entry with purchase visit any participating St. Louis Bar & Grill and obtain a Contest Card with purchase of The Game Day Special. For a no purchase entry request a Contest Card at any participating location. Enter your pin by visiting www.shopbeergear.ca/BudProBowl (each an “Entry”).
GRAND PRIZE:
There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won consisting of a trip for two (2) to Pro Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada (the “Grand Prize”). The Grand Prize includes one trip for two (2) people (one contest winner and one travel companion) to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend the 2023 Pro Bowl, round trip economy class airfare from closest international airport to winner’s home, to Las Vegas, Nevada, three (3) nights hotel accommodation (based on double occupancy at the hotel selected by Contest Sponsor), two (2) upper stadium Pro Bowl game tickets , airport transfers in Las Vegas to /from hotel , $500 CAD spending money payable to contest winner only (in form of pre-paid credit card or interac e-transfer), and taxes on included services. Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $5,000 CAD (ARV) based on Toronto departure and is not redeemable in whole or part for cash. Dates of travel are February 3rd to 6th, 2023, subject to change by contest sponsor discretion. Agenda details and dates of travel are subject to change at the discretion of Sponsor, Grand Prize Supplier and/or airline availability.
The Grand Prize Winner and the travelling companion of the Grand Prize Winner (the “Travelling Companion”) are not entitled to any monetary difference between the actual value and stated value. Once the Grand Prize Winner has been drawn they will be contacted via email information provided on the eligible online entry. If the Grand Prize Winner is unable to be contacted after three (3) attempts with two (2) calendar days (January 10th 12:00pm – January 12th 12:00pm) between each attempt, he or she forfeits the Grand Prize and another entrant may, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, be selected from the eligible online entries. Grand Prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions in cash or otherwise, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor and Grand Prize Supplier reserve the right to substitute a portion of any part of the Grand Prize if necessary, at their discretion. They also reserve the right to substitute the Grand Prize with equivalent monetary value if a Grand Prize or any part of a Grand Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Sponsor and Grand Prize Supplier will not be responsible, however, if factors beyond Sponsor’s and/or Grand Prize Supplier’s reasonable control prevent a Grand Prize from being fulfilled. In any such event, Grand Prize Winner will not be provided with a substitute Grand Prize or cash equivalent. Grand Prize will only be released to the verified Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize contest winner and Travelling Companion are responsible for all expenses not specifically described as part of the Grand Prize, including but not limited to, obtaining and presenting valid travel documentation including a valid passport, for travel to and from the United States of America, proof of Covid 19 vaccination (and/or other vaccination requirements in place at time of booking and /or at time of travel), ArriveCan app on phone for re-entry to Canada, any government issued testing requirements for entry , insurance, baggage fees, food and beverage, taxes and gratuities, communications, transportation, and for all personal expenses. Alcohol is not part of the prize. The Grand Prize Winner and Travelling Companion must be able to travel at times and/or dates stipulated by the Contest Sponsor (subject to change by the Contest Sponsor) or the Grand Prize will be forfeited. Grand Prize Winner’s Travelling Companion must also be 21 years of age or older and otherwise eligible under these Rules.
Contest winner and guest are responsible to consult local, provincial / state and federal guidelines for travel and venue restrictions / requirements related to COVID-19 or any other illness as required, prior to travel (including but not limited to, mask compliance, proof of vaccination, covid19 antigen and/or PCR testing requirements. Contest winner and travel companion will be required to sign release waiver agreeing to terms of contest and travel protocols in order to accept the prize . The Contest Sponsor is not liable if travel and /or entry to venue(s) is impeded or refused by reason or decisions of any governmental authorities (federal or provincial or state), regional health authorities or venue management and will not be responsible for event cancellations or if other factors beyond their reasonable control prevent the Prize or any part thereof from being fulfilled.
Odds of winning the Grand Prize is dependent upon the number of eligible online entries received during the Contest Period.
RELEASES, ETC.:
The Grand Prize Winner and Travelling Companion will be required to execute a Full and Final Release releasing the Sponsor, Grand Prize Supplier and each of their respective advertising and promotional agencies, the Contest judging organization, franchisees, provincial/state liquor authorities, beer distribution companies, parent companies and affiliates of the foregoing and all of their respective directors, shareholders, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or the Grand Prize.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
Without limiting the release provided the paragraph above, and for greater certainty, the Releasees will not be liable for: a) any incomplete or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries; b) the theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries or the receipt and collection thereof; or c) any damage to any of the Grand Prize Winner’s and/or their Travelling Companion’s personal or real property as a result of use of the Grand Prize.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest. By accepting the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Winner and Travelling Companions consent to the collection, use and disclosure to the public of their name, address (city and province only), voice, statements and photographs or other likenesses for publicity purposes by the Sponsor and/or the Grand Prize Supplier in connection with the Contest in any media or formats including, but not limited to, the Internet, without further notice, permission or compensation. Personal information will not otherwise be used or disclosed without consent.
ERRORS, ETC.: Any Contest Cards or other materials used in this Contest that have been tampered with, mutilated, altered, forged, reproduced, not legitimately obtained, are illegible or which contain or reflect printing, production or other errors will be void.
RIGHT TO TERMINATE OR AMEND: Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or amend the terms of this Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice for any reason or if any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Contest Rules.
MISCELLANEOUS:
All decisions of the Sponsor, Grand Prize Supplier, or any Contest judging organization as designated by them, are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Sponsors and other Releasees will not be responsible for illegible, incomplete, lost, misdirected or late entries which will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial/state and municipals laws.
Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify, from this Contest and any future Contest or other promotion conducted by the Sponsor, any individual that they find or believe to be not in compliance with these Official Contest Rules, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or any of its technical or mechanical elements; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR OTHER EQUIPMENT OR TECHNOLOGY USED AS PART OF THIS CONTEST OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
GOVERNING LAW:
All issues, disputes and/or questions concerning the validity and/or enforceability of these rules or the rights and obligations of any entrant or Releasees in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.
LIQUOR AUTHORITIES:
The provincial/state liquor authorities are not connected with this Contest in any manner whatsoever and are not liable in any way whatsoever with regard to any matter relating to this Contest.
All entrants agree to release the National Football League and its member football clubs, NFL Ventures, Inc., NFL Ventures, L.P., and each of their respective direct and indirect subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, members, partners, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the “NFL Entities”) from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, liability of any kind resulting or arising from participation in the Contests and/or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of any Grand Prize (including any travel or travel-related activity thereto).
THE NFL ENTITIES HAVE NOT OFFERED OR SPONSORED THIS CONTESTS IN ANY WAY. THE NFL ENTITIES WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTESTS OR ANY GRAND PRIZE AWARDED. THE NFL ENTITIES WILL HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, IN THE EVENT THAT THE 2023 PRO BOWL IS CANCELLED, POSTPONED, RESCHEDULED OR RELOCATED FOR ANY REASON OR IF GRAND PRIZE WINNER IS UNABLE TO TRAVEL TO OR ATTEND PRO BOWL FOR ANY REASON.
